Live HD Smooth Streaming Video Experiences, Windows Phone 7 and Silverlight mix it up!

Vertigo’s proud to be back in Las Vegas at MIX10. As usual, we’ve been busy working on several exciting projects. This year, we’re thrilled to be part of the keynote by creating innovative Windows Phone 7 prototypes for Shazam and Netflix. Leveraging Vertigo’s design and development expertise with Silverlight and touch, it was a natural evolution for Vertigo to start creating Windows Phone 7 applications.

We’re also at MIX10 this year to talk about Vertigo’s live HD Smooth Streaming video experiences. Working with Microsoft, we’re Smooth Streaming the MIX10 keynotes live in HD. Check out the live stream here: http://live.visitmix.com

In addition to streaming the MIX10 keynotes live in stunning HD quality, Vertigo designed and implemented features such as DVR-style player controls, Closed Captioning support and Twitter feed integration. The MIX10 player uses the Silverlight Media Framework Vertigo created from the Sunday Night Football and 2010 Winter Olympics player experiences we built for NBC.

With the 2010 Winter Olympics wrapped up just a few weeks ago, we’re here at MIX10 to share an in depth look at creating live HD Smooth Streaming video experiences in two Smooth Streaming Live sessions.

We have three sessions—make sure to check them out:
